I’ve spent the last decade building, testing, and refining creative and marketing systems in the real world—not theory.
Between 2015 and 2019, I launched and experimented with multiple creative businesses, including clothing brands and early digital projects. At the time, I wasn’t chasing a career in marketing—I was learning by doing. Website development, graphic design, social media, and video production became skills I developed under real constraints, real budgets, and real consequences.
When 2020 slowed everything down, I took the opportunity to step back and evaluate what I had actually built. I recognized that my most valuable asset wasn’t any single project—it was the compound skill set I’d developed by being directly responsible for the outcome.
I doubled down.
I invested in professional video and podcasting equipment and committed to mastering the full production and distribution process. That commitment became The Ziza Connection podcast. What began as a rough, low-quality production evolved into a fully polished, professional show by episode 34—a visible progression that reflects how I approach every project: iteration, refinement, and execution.
That work led to the formation of Talk Time.
As businesses and creators rushed into short-form content during the social media boom, I helped clients capitalize on the moment. Reels and TikTok drove reach, growth, and visibility—and for a time, they were effective.
But as the landscape matured, I made a deliberate decision in mid-2024 to step away from short-form services. The goal was never to chase what was loudest—it was to build what would last.
I spent the following year focusing on long-term marketing infrastructure: owned media, long-form content, and systems that don’t disappear when algorithms change.
Talk Time returned in its current form built on that foundation. Today, I work with businesses and creators who want marketing systems they control—strategies backed by experience, data, and years of trial and error—so they can grow with confidence, clarity, and longevity.
